Bespoked 2014
The UK Handmade Bicycle Show

11th – 13th April 2014, Lee Valley Velopark, London.

Bespoked is Europe’s leading Handmade Bicycle Show, celebrating the craft of beautiful bicycles. The exhibitor list for this April’s show reveals it will bring together many of the greatest artisan bicycle builders in the world, in an exceptional new venue at the Lee Valley VeloPark – home of the track cycling, BMX and Paralympic track cycling during the London 2012 Olympic games.

Exhibitors will include many from the heritage of UK framebuilding – esteemed names such as Brian Rourke, Condor, Roberts, Mercian, Longstaff, Swallow and Woodrup‘s – alongside an array of amazing young talent building upon this tradition – Feather, Donhou, Field, Saffron and Oak, to name just a few.

A little bit of Portland Oregon will also be arriving in London for the show, with the diverse talents of Ahearne Cycles, Igleheart, Winter and Strawberry Bicycles being on display. And for fans of the Italian maestros; Tommasini, Legend, Daccordi, Faggin, De Rosa and Pegoretti will be there. Exhibitors from as far afield as Hungary, Taiwan and South Africa … complete the international line up.

Organisers Phil and Tessa Taylor have remained true to their principles, favouring exhibitors who demonstrate a strong commitment to ‘handmade’, continuing to promote new builders, and by attempting to strike just the right balance between the bicycles and makers of fine components, apparel and accessories.

Bespoked has launched a weekly feature introducing you to some of the exhibitors and showcasing their work, Framebuilder of the Week. This feature offers the opportunity to learn more about exhibitors’ individual style and inspirations, as well as giving an insight into their behind the scenes preparation for Bespoked 2014.
